Once Upon a Farm Tractor Wheel toddler bars are being recalled because several toddlers have suffered complete airway obstruction when eating them.
The FDA said it has received several reports that describe toddlers (ages 1.5–2.5 years) suffering complete airway obstruction and being unable to breathe after consuming the product.
When chewed, the bars form a dry, sticky mass that standard choking interventions — including back blows and the Heimlich maneuver — may fail to dislodge, the agency said. Some reported choking incidents have required emergency response intervention and hospital observation.
