The Outraged Consumer is a rather irritable character. He has worked in various corners of the news business for more decades than some species have existed and it hasn’t done much for his disposition.
He became annoyed when people who get their news from cereal boxes complained about excessive attitude in his postings. So he started a new site, ConsumerNews.ai, that was purposely dull, straight and factual. It got astonishingly few readers but attracted many critics who in an earlier life might have been conducting dunking stool interrogations of suspected witches and AI wizards.
So, he’s back, vowing to continue doing stories that may display a little attitude now and then but that provide useful information for consumers, who are basically deer in the headlights in today’s economy. His first story will come rolling out soon.
He may keep the other site going as well. We’ll see.
